The artist Zhang Yingnan’s eponymous monograph, “ZHANG YINGNAN”, is published and publicly distributed by the renowned global publisher Rizzoli. This monograph, carefully planned and prepared over the course of more than a year, was printed in Italy and includes a selection of Zhang Yingnan’s major paintings from 2013 to 2024, spanning over a decade of artistic creation.
Founded in 1929 in Italy, Rizzoli is renowned for publishing books on art, design, architecture, and fashion. The publisher operates distinctive bookstores in landmark buildings in New York, USA, and Milan, Italy. To date, Rizzoli has released many influential artist monographs, including works on Hong Kong filmmaker Wong Kar-wai and jewelry designer Chen Shiying. Several artist monographs represented by Galerie Gagosian are also published by Rizzoli. The “ZHANG YINGNAN” monograph is the first book by Rizzoli to feature a “post-80s” Chinese contemporary artist, marking the publisher’s attention and recognition of the new generation of Chinese artists.
