Yang Tsung FAN

Described as “The port of Asian and western arts” by director of Wende Museum Justinian Jampol, FAN-Yang Tsung’s paitings are highly praised in El Segundo Museum of Art exhibition in LA. This year, his paintings are posted on France based media “Le Monde Diplomatic” in surprisingly tremendous scale of 5-halves of whole pages. Forcing his way to the central stage of world’s contemporary art, FAN, Yang-Tsung became definitely a hot shot. By perfect arrangement of hugeness and diminutiveness, FAN Yang-Tsung has created a minimized universe within his artworks. By delicate hard-edge painting skill, FAN presents a multi-angled viewpoint and thus sketches a magical world of people’s inner voice.

In the “Swimming pool” series from FAN, the reflection on the swimming glasses in his figure shows a small world of people’s acting and interactive mode. In a striking contrast of blue and pink in the paint, those unspeakable desires are too implied to ignore. However, look back on the painting, all hints of “peep” and “desire” are simply intangible.
